Ladies' Day 2008 took place on 21 June. In spite of this being midsummer's day, rain prevailed and the event was therefore held inside the Club rather than in the garden.
Undeterred, the ladies of Rowington had a very enjoyable afternoon eating strawberries and quaffing champagne whilst wearing their best hats and listening to the singer, Van Reeves. A magnum of champagne was awarded to the lady wearing the best hat and the afternoon ended with some dancing and lots of arm waving to My Way and You'll Never Walk Alone.
