There are five public houses in the parish of Rowington.

The Cock Horse Inn
The Cock Horse Inn, formerly called the Cock Inn, features strongly in Rowington history and is doubtless one of the oldest pubs in the parish. At one time the pub was the location of the village forge and the Innkeeper was also the blacksmith.

The Cock Horse Inn is on the Old Warwick Road, just south of St Laurence Church and within walking distance of the Grand Union canal. It recently started to focus on selling traditional ciders. Telephone: 01926 842183.
The Tom O' The Wood
The Tom O' The Wood is situated on Finwood Road, between Rowington and Lowsonford at Turner's End. It has undergone a number of changes of management over the past few years, most recently in September 2009.

The Tom O' The Wood has a bar, a conservatory and a small restaurant. Outside there is a beer garden and access to the Grand Union canal.

The Fleur de Lys
The Fleur de Lys is a very picturesque pub located in the pretty hamlet of Lowsonford and backing onto the Stratford-upon-Avon canal. Part of the building dates back to the 15th century but many changes have taken place since then.

The Navigation Inn
The Navigation Inn claims to be in Lapworth but is situated east of Kingswood Brook which places it very clearly in Rowington. For many years it featured in the Good Pub Guide.

The Navigation Inn is located on the Old Warwick Road next to the Grand Union canal and a short distance from Kingswood canal junction. It has a traditional flagstone floored bar, a modern style restaurant and a pretty canalside beer garden. The same reasonably priced menu is served throughout.

The Durham Ox
The Durham Ox is located on Shrewley Common, just within the Rowington parish boundary, and is probably the closest Rowington gets to its very own "gastropub".

The  Durham Ox has a stylish bar, a modern restaurant, a large garden and a wide-ranging menu.

Other local drinking establishments
A good alternative for a drink is Rowington Club in Rowington Green. This serves good beer and is especially pleasant during the summer cricketing months, as the Club is located next to the cricket field. Telephone: 01564 782087.

The Case is Altered on Case Lane at Five Ways remains largely untouched by time. No food is served, children are not encouraged and dogs are not allowed but this is a Good Pub Guide and CAMRA favourite, serving real ales in a traditional setting. Telephone: 01926 484206.

There are several 'gastropubs' close by, such as the Boot and the Punch Bowl, both of which are in Lapworth, the Orange Tree at Chadwick End, the Crabmill at Preston Bagot and the Red Lion at Claverdon. All of these have restaurants with a good local reputation and attract custom from far and wide.
