On Saturdays the First team plays in the 1st division and the Second XI play in the 6th division of the Cotswold Hills League. On Sundays a team of mixed abilities plays non-league cricket.
There are outdoor nets at the ground every Wednesday throughout the season from 6 to 7.30 pm.
The club is always interested in talking to potential new players. So, whatever your standard of play, if you would like to play for the club please contact Steve Jay by e-mailor by telephone on 07850 143680.
Match reports, results and other news
The Rowington Cricket Club blog, mainly in the form of Steve Jay's weekly match reports, can be accessed by clicking on the Match Reports link on the left of this page. Up to date First XI summary results and stats will also be found here, as well as reports on some of the junior team's matches and other newsworthy items. Click on the Comments link at the end of each match report if you wish to view or leave comments. The more technologically minded can subscribe to an RSS feed which will alert you each time a new report is posted.
Ladies Cricket
This season the club has started to run ladies cricket coaching sessions on Wednesday evenings from 6 - 7.30 pm. It is hoped that there will soon be sufficient interest to form a ladies cricket team. All levels of experience are welcome so if you are interested in taking part please contact Toni Timmins on 07956 294869.
Juniors
The club runs junior practice sessions for children in Year 2 up to Year 8 on Monday nights from April to July. Following the successes of the last two years, the club plans to enter an Under 16 team in the Junior Section of the Cotswold Hills League in the 2009 season. The Juniors page contains further details.
Vice Presidents
The club's Vice Presidents tend to be local people who have village facilities and activities at heart. For a minimum of £5, which tends to be topped up by most people to a larger sum by gift aid donation, you can become a Vice President and thereby be associated with the club. If you are interested in supporting the club in this way please contact Brian Taylor by or by telephone on 01564 782961.
Each year in June the annual Vice Presidents' day provides a chance to meet other Vice Presidents and to watch a Rowington Sunday side take on a team of Old Boys. All Vice Presidents, cricketers, villagers and their families are welcome.
Annual Dinner
Each year the club holds an annual dinner and prize giving. This year's dinner is scheduled to take place on Friday 23 October 2009 at the Ardencote Manor Hotel. Watch this space for further details.

The ground is located in Rowington Green. Click on the link on the left of this page for a location map or click here to view an interactive Google map of Rowington which shows the location of the club and can also provide directions. Parking is available at neighbouring Rowington Club.
