INTRODUCTION TO ROWINGTON PARISH COUNCIL
 
Rowington Parish Council is one of 19 parish councils and four town councils within Warwick District with an overall responsibility for the well being of the local community. It represents approximately 780 potential electors in 424 properties and is made up of nine councillors who meet regularly to make decisions on the work and direction of the Parish Council.
 
Rowington Parish Council uses a sum of money called a precept, which is collected through the council tax, to improve facilities and services for local residents. For 2008/09 Rowington Parish Council's precept is £13,846.
