Rowington Women's Institute
WE BELONG
to the Warwickshire Federation of Women's Institutes, which incorporates 117 Women's Institutes with a total membership of around 3,500.

WE ARE PROUD
to be a small part of the National Federation of Women's Institutes, which is the largest women’s voluntary organisation in the UK, with some 205,000 members in 6,800 Women's Institutes throughout the country.

OUR WI
is lively, creative, sociable and community conscious.

WE CARE
about our members, the local environment and the future of rural services – especially our Post Office and public transport.

WE BELIEVE
in encompassing modern day ideas without losing the traditions which are at the heart of the WI movement.

WE SUPPORT
local events. We provide the tea tent at the Annual Village Show and organise a village tea party for the community at Rowington Village Hall.

WE HAVE
regular speakers on wide-ranging and thought-provoking topics at our meetings.

WE ENJOY
walking, swimming, singing and learning craft and computer skills.

WE PARTICIPATE
in WI Group competitions and have contributed to the Coventry Myton Hospice Butterfly Garden.

WE GO ON OUTINGS
to gardens, National Trust properties and other places of interest such as Stoneleigh Abbey and the Cotswold Perfumery.

WE MEET
at Rowington Village Hall at 7.30 pm on the second Tuesday of each month (except August).

OUR PROGRAMME
is varied and interesting. A full list of all our currently planned events for 2010 may be found here.

WE ARE HAPPY
to welcome guests to our meetings and WE HOPE that some may be enthused enough by our programme of events to become members.

OUR PRESIDENT
